The room was located in the left wing of the third floor, as the farthest room to the right. The floor was white with grey walls. There were computers located in the back and middle segment.
As of the November 15, 2015 Build, the room has a beige wooden floor and blue-grey walls with a tan trim. There are windows in the back of the room that the player cannot see out of. Another row of computers can be found in the front of the room. It is located in the western wing of the third floor.
A random table and boxes can be found outside the room in the April 1st, 2016 Build, that the player can hide behind without being caught.
A Placeholder Club Leader is located on the south side of the room.
One of the most important features of the Computer Lab is the tape recorder, which can be used to listen to the various cassette tapes found around the school and in Yandere-chan's basement. It is located to the right of the room, on a small desk against the center of the wall.
As of the April 15th, 2016 Build, if the player joins the Gaming Club, they will be able to interact with several computers in this lab. By doing this, they can temporarily increase one of Yandere-chan's stats once per day. Pippi Osu and Ryuto Ippongo will go to the lab before school, at lunch time, and after school to play a game called Osu!
Pippi and Ryuto can be easily murdered here, because they are currently the only two people who will enter this room. Pippi uses the farthest computer from the doors on the left, while Ryuto sits five computers away. Unless School Atmosphere is very low, both will be too distracted by Osu! to notice the murder of another student.
- A removed Easter Egg was the music that played from the computer when the player moved close to Pippi. It was originally the opening theme of the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica, titled "Connect" by ClariS. In the August 12th, 2015 Build, the music was updated to an original song created for Yandere Simulator.
- The song that currently plays from the computer, when close to Pippi or Ryuto, is a techno/electronic remix of the soundtrack the player can hear throughout the game.
- The two gamers are actually playing a rhythm game called Osu!. On the computer, they appear to be playing classic mode, which is the most popular form of Osu! that is played. This suggests that Pippi and Ryuto's favorite Osu! game mode is classic.
- At one point, during a debug build, YandereDev was testing with transparent windows. He later had to remove them because it dropped the frame rate tremendously.
