The bokken is a weapon in Yandere Simulator.
Gameplay[]
The bokken can be obtained by beating Doremi Shimahara, Hokuto Furukizu, and/or Taichi Hiranaka in a combat mini-game. The bokken cannot be concealed in Ayano's inventory and is seen as suspicious, so if any student sees her holding the weapon, her reputation will drop by ten points at high School Atmosphere.
Ayano cannot use a bokken when fighting a Heroic student or a teacher and will automatically lose, as the weapon is too unwieldy to use in close quarters.
Ayano can put the bokken inside a cello case, a weapon bag, or a trash can in order to conceal it.
Killing Animations[]
There are 4 killing animations depending on Ayano's level of sanity.
- High Sanity: She will step forward and hit the student on the head with the bokken.
- Medium Sanity: She will knock the student down on their knee and hit the student on the head.
- Low Sanity: She will knock the student down on their knee, hit them in the head and whack them repeatedly.
- Stealth Kill: She will put the bokken around the student's neck and snap their neck.
