Hayato Haruki

Hayato Haruki is one of the male students who attended Akademi in 1980s Mode.

Before he was reintroduced in 1980s Mode, he was one of the male students who attended Akademi in 202X Mode.

Appearance []

Current[]

Hayato wears the default 1980s school uniform.

He has green hair that is partially slicked back with four strands hanging out, with two reaching his eyebrows and two reaching his eyes. His hair sticks out from behind his head, and the slicked back portion sticks up slightly. He has green eyes as well.

Hayato wore the default uniform, unless customized by the player.

He had emerald green hair that is partially pulled back, with four strands of hair hanging over his forehead, and emerald green eyes. He used to wear a white headband when he was in the Martial Arts Club, although it did not show up on his Student Profile. As of the January 1st, 2016 Build, he no longer wore the headband and was no longer a part of the Martial Arts Club.

Current[]

Among the personas that are currently implemented in the game, Hayato is Heroic. If he sees a corpse, he will act upon the Teacher's Pet persona. If he witnesses a murder, he will run to fight Ryoba.

Week 10[]

During Week 10, Hayato helps with Sonoko's investigation and uses the Sleuth persona. He will take a photo of Ryoba committing murder or of the corpse and run to show it to the police, who are just outside the school. This will cause an instant Game Over if the photo is of Ryoba committing murder, as Ryoba will have been arrested.

Hayato was a Social Butterfly. He would've happily posed for a picture if the player aimed their camera at him. If he saw a corpse or witnessed a murder, he will run to the nearest secluded area and call the police. He could not participate in physical fights against murderers.

Week 1[]

Hayato changes his shoes at 7:00 AM, then heads to the school plaza to hang out with the rest of the rainbow boys. At 8:00 AM, He goes to class in Classroom 1-2 and sits at his desk and starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, he leaves to eat his lunch on the school rooftop at 1:00 PM.

He heads back to class at 1:23 PM, then participates in Cleaning Time at 3:30 PM.

At 4:00 PM, he hangs out with the rest of the rainbow boys at the school plaza and stays there until 5:30 PM.

Week 2[]

Hayato changes his shoes at 7:00 AM, then goes to the back of the school and hangs out with the rest of the rainbow boys and Moeko Rakuyona. At 8:00 AM, He goes to class in Classroom 1-2 and sits at his desk and starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, he leaves to eat his lunch on the school rooftop at 1:00 PM.

He heads back to class at 1:23 PM, then participates in Cleaning Time at 3:30 PM.

At 4:00 PM, he hangs out with the rest of the rainbow boys and Moeko Rakuyona in the indoor cafeteria and stays there until 5:30 PM.

Week 3[]

Hayato will quickly rush to his locker and change into his shoes. At 7:00 AM, he will sit down and read by the shoe lockers.

At 8:15 AM, Hayato will run to Classroom 1-2 and sits at his desk and starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, he leaves to eat his lunch on the east side stairs leading up to the third floor.

Then, Hayato runs back to class again at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, he will sit down to read at the indoor cafeteria, and stays there until the end of the day.

On Thursday, he will not participate during cleaning time and will instead sit down and read till the end of the day.

Week 4[]

Hayato changes his shoes at 7:00 AM, then heads to the school plaza to hang out with the rest of the rainbow boys. At 8:00 AM, He goes to class in Classroom 1-2 and sits at his desk and starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM.

At lunch time, Hayato heads to the Home Economics Room along with the other Rainbow Hair Boys to make a bento for lunch. Making it harder for Ryoba Aishi to eliminate Sumiko Tachibana without a witness. Afterwards, he leaves to eat his lunch on the school rooftop at 1:05 PM.

He heads back to class at 1:23 PM, then participates in Cleaning Time at 3:30 PM.

At 4:00 PM, he goes to the indoor cafeteria to perform raijo taiso along with the Rainbow Haired students and Sumiko Tachibana. At 4:30 PM, he heads to his locker, changes his shoes, then walks out of school with the rest of the rainbow students.

Week 5[]

Hayato will quickly rush to his locker and change into his shoes. At 7:00 AM, he will sit down and read by the shoe lockers.

At 8:15 AM, Hayato will run to Classroom 1-2 and sits at his desk and starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, he leaves to eat his lunch on the east side stairs leading up to the third floor.

Then, Hayato runs back to class again at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, he will sit down to read outside of Classroom 1-1, and stays there until the end of the day.

On Thursday, he will not participate during cleaning time and will instead sit down and read till the end of the day.

At 7:00 AM, Hayato enters the school grounds and immediately investigates various students, including Ryoba.

At 8:00 AM, he walks to Classroom 1-2 and sits at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM and leaves to once again investigate various students at 1:00 PM.

He walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Afterward, he will continue to investigate various students until the end of the day.

At 7:05 AM, Hayato enters the school grounds. He walked to his locker at 7:10 AM and changed from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, he walked into the plaza, to the right side of the fountain, and gossiped with Haruto Yuto, Sota Yuki, Ryusei Koki, Sora Sosuke, and Riku Soma.

At 8:00 AM, Hayato walked into Classroom 2-1 and sat at his desk. He started his morning classes at 8:30 AM, then left to go to the cafeteria to gossip at 1:00 PM.

Hayato walked back to class again at 1:30 PM and participated in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. He then headed to his locker and changes from his indoor shoes to his outdoor shoes, then he lingered there until 3:50 PM, when he walked home.

Trivia[]

He was first implemented in the April 18, 2015 Build.
His name is a reference to the most popular male Japanese names for 2012, 5th most popular being Hayato, 6th most popular being Haruki.^[2]^[3]
The name 隼人 Hayato means ”Falcon Man” (隼 Haya means ”Falcon”, and 人 To means ”Man”). Surname 陽生 Haruki means ”Sunny Shine” (陽 Haru means ”Sunny”, and 輝 Ki means ”Shine”).
His female counterpart is Koharu.
- They along with Sumiko Tachibana (Week 5 and onwards) are the only ones to have the heroic persona without being members of the Sports Club or the Martial Arts Club in 1980s
When he was in the Martial Arts Club in the December 3rd, 2015 Build, he wore a white headband, although he did not wear one in his portrait. He was incapable of self-defense and did not attend club meetings.
Before the June 29th, 2016 Build, he arrived on school grounds 10th in line on the right side, at 7:05 AM.
As of the August 18th, 2018 Build, he has been removed from the game. YandereDev said that he (with the other rainbow students) will be put back into the game once the frame rate is stable, and if not, then he (along with the other removed rainbow students) will appear in 1980s Mode.
If he and Koharu were in a club, they'd be in the Cooking Club.
He is the only male student who attends Class 1-2 in 1980s Mode.
According to YandereDev, he along with the other Rainbow Hair Students had normal lives after they graduated. ^[4]
