Ryusei Koki

Ryusei Koki (real name: Ryusei Abikoki) is one of the male students who attended Akademi in 1980s Mode.

Before he was reintroduced in 1980s Mode, he was one of the male students who attended Akademi in 202X Mode.

Appearance []

Ryusei wears the default 1980s uniform.

He has spiky blue hair that's swept up and back to the right, with two strands that stick out, one reaching his right eye and one reaching his ear. He has blue eyes and blue glasses as well.

Ryusei wore the default uniform, unless customized by the player.

He had spiky cobalt blue colored hair swept up and back to the right, with two strands protruding to the right on his face. His eyes were dark cobalt blue.

As of the September 1st, 2017 Build, he wore blue framed glasses.

Personality[]

“	A hard-working and diligent boy. Doesn't give up easily, and always tries his best at everything he does. However, he sometimes finds it difficult to express himself.	”

Among the personas that are currently implemented in the game, he is a Teacher's Pet. If Ryusei sees a corpse or witnessed a murder, he will report to his teacher, unless another Teacher's Pet already has. He cannot participate in physical fights.

Week 10[]

During Week 10, Ryusei helps with Sonoko Sakanoue's investigation and uses the Sleuth persona. He will take a photo of Ryoba committing murder or of the corpse and run to show it to the police, who are just outside the school. This will cause an instant Game Over if the photo is of Ryoba committing murder, as Ryoba will have been arrested.

Routine[]

Week 1[]

Ryusei changes his shoes at 7:00 AM, then heads to the school plaza to hang out with the rest of the rainbow boys. At 8:00 AM, He goes to class in Classroom 2-1 and sits at his desk and starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, he leaves to eat his lunch on the school rooftop at 1:00 PM.

He heads back to class at 1:23 PM, then participates in cleaning time at 3:30 PM.

At 4:00 PM, he hangs out with the rest of the rainbow boys at the school plaza and stays there until 5:30 PM.

Week 2[]

Ryusei changes his shoes at 7:00 AM, then goes to the back of the school and hangs out with the rest of the rainbow boys and Moeko Rakuyona. At 8:00 AM, He goes to class in Classroom 2-1 and sits at his desk and starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, he leaves to eat his lunch on the school rooftop at 1:00 PM.

He heads back to class at 1:23 PM, then participates in Cleaning Time at 3:30 PM.

At 4:00 PM, he hangs out with the rest of the rainbow boys and Moeko Rakuyona in the indoor cafeteria and stays there until 5:30 PM.

Ryusei will quickly rush to his locker and change into his shoes. At 7:00 AM, he will sit down and read by the shoe lockers.

At 8:15 AM, Ryusei will run to Classroom 2-1 and sits at his desk and starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, he leaves to eat his lunch outside of Classroom 3-2.

Then, Ryusei runs back to class again at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, he will sit down to read by Classroom 2-1, and stays there until the end of the day.

On Thursday, he will not participate during cleaning time and will instead sit down and read till the end of the day.

Week 4[]

Ryusei changes his shoes at 7:00 AM, then heads to the school plaza to hang out with the rest of the rainbow boys. At 8:00 AM, He goes to class in Classroom 3-2 and sits at his desk and starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM.

At lunch time, Ryusei heads over to the Home Economics Room along with the other Rainbow Hair Boys to make a bento for lunch. Making it harder for Ryoba Aishi to eliminate Sumiko Tachibana without a witness. Afterwards, he leaves to eat his lunch on the school rooftop at 1:05 PM.

He heads back to class at 1:23 PM, then participates in Cleaning Time at 3:30 PM.

At 4:00 PM, he goes to the indoor cafeteria to perform raijo taiso along with the Rainbow Haired students and Sumiko Tachibana. At 4:30 PM, he heads to his locker, changes his shoes, then walks out of school with the rest of the rainbow students.

Week 5[]

Ryusei will quickly rush to his locker and change into his shoes. At 7:00 AM, he will sit down and read by the shoe lockers.

During Week 9, Ryusei walks around following Chigusa Busujima along with other male students in Akademi, making it harder for Ryoba Aishi to kill her without a witness.

Ryuseiroutine — Ryusei investigating the school.

At 7:00 AM, Ryusei enters the school grounds and immediately investigates various students, including Ryoba.

At 8:00 AM, he walks to Classroom 2-1 and sits at his desk. She starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM and leaves to once again investigate various students at 1:00 PM.

He walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Afterward, he will continue to investigate various students until the end of the day.

Previous[]

At 7:05 AM, Ryusei entered the school grounds. He walked to his locker at 7:10 AM and changed from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, he walked into the plaza, to the right side of the fountain, and gossiped with Haruto, Sota, Hayato, Sora, and Riku.

At 8:00 AM, Ryusei walked into Classroom 2-2 and sat at his desk. He started his morning classes at 8:30 AM, and left to go to the cafeteria to gossip at 1:00 PM.

Ryusei walked back to class again at 1:30 PM and participated in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. He then headed to his locker and changed from his indoor shoes to his outdoor shoes, then he lingered there until 3:50 PM, when he walked home.

Trivia[]

His name was a reference to the most popular male Japanese names for 2012, 7th most popular being Ryusei, 8th most popular being Koki.^[2]^[3]
The name 竜聖 Ryusei means ”Holy Dragon” (竜 Ryu means ”Dragon”, and 聖 Sei means ”Holy”). Surname 幸輝 Kōki means ”Fortune Shine” (幸 Kō means ”Fortune”, and 輝 Ki means ”Shine”).
His female counterpart was Mei.
His hair was modeled after Lloyd Irving's from Tales of Symphonia.^[4]
Before the June 29th, 2016 Build, he arrived on school grounds 11th in line on the left side, at 7:05 AM.
He was the only student in his group to not change persona in the September 1st, 2017 Build.
As of the August 18th, 2018 Build, he has been removed from the game. YandereDev said that he (with the other rainbow students) will be put back into the game once the frame rate is stable, and if not, then he (along with the other removed rainbow students) will appear in 1980s Mode.
If he and Mei were in a club, they'd be in the Science Club.
According to YandereDev, he along with the other Rainbow Hair Students had normal lives after they graduated. ^[5]
