Ryuto Ippongo is one of the male students who currently attends Akademi.
He is the third student to be introduced as an Easter Egg student after Midori Gurin.
Appearance[]
Ryuto wears the default school uniform unless customized by the player. He has red eyes and spiky black hair with red tips. He also wears a red bandana.

Among the personas that are currently implemented in the game, Ryuto is a Phone Addict. If Ayano Aishi aims her phone's camera at him, he will happily pose for a picture. If he sees a corpse or witnesses a murder, he will snap a picture with his phone and text it to the police while running out of the school. He cannot participate in physical confrontations against murderers, unless Pippi Osu is killed in front of him.
Routine[]
Ryuto enters the school grounds at 7:05 AM. He walks to his locker at 7:10 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, Ryuto walks around the school while playing an augmented reality game with Midori Gurin, Mai Waifu, and Pippi Osu. At 8:00 AM, Ryuto walks into Classroom 3-1 and sits at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM.

At 1:00 PM, he sits outside the Gaming Club and eats lunch, walks back to class again at 1:30 PM, and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Afterwards, he goes back to the Gaming Club and plays a computer game with his friends until the end of the day.
If the Gaming Club disbands, he will still play his Miyuki AR game with his former club members except for Gema, who would play games outside of the clubroom.

Ryuto has a crush on Pippi, but he doesn't know that she feels the same way about him.
Since he has a crush on her, if the player kills Pippi in front of him, he will attack the player with much more force than he's usually capable of. However, if she dies, he will not mourn her death.
Task[]
Ryuto Ippongo has lost his bandana. Locate his bandana and return it to him.
The bandana can be found between the hedge maze and the school. It will not spawn unless the player has accepted the task.

Trivia[]
- On his computer screen is Tomoe Mami, a character from the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
- His name and design is a parody[2] of Ryuta Ippongi from the rhythm game Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan. His character has made a cameo in the game Osu! as well.
- YandereDev thought his old hair was "freaking awesome", but changed it because it stuck out like a sore thumb.[3]
- Despite him being in love with Pippi, the player will only be able to play cupid with a rival, not two ordinary NPCs.[4]
- YandereDev might implement him blushing when he is near Pippi.[5] He may fall into depression if she dies.[6]
- The player can see him commenting on Hoshiko Mizudori's phone.
