The Placeholder Club Leaders are, as their name suggests, placeholders of future club leaders.

YandereDev has stated that adding new students would take too long for the February 1st, 2016 Build, so he added these leaders as placeholders until the real leaders are modeled, voiced, and implemented. The nine placeholder Club Leaders all have the same dialogue and cannot be killed.

Info-chan will not recognize them and the player cannot take panty shots of them.

They all wear the default school uniform regardless of customization and are all female. They are entirely monochrome, except for the red armband of leadership on their left arm that all club leaders wear. Their short, shaggy, grey hair completely covers their face, but behind it, their eyes are completely black. They speak in a hollow, robotic voice.

One leader can be found in front of the garden, one in the middle of the Cooking Club, one in the middle of the Art Club, one in the middle of the Drama Club, one in the middle of the Light Music Club, one in the middle of the Science Club, one in the Computer Lab, one in front of the track, and one in the middle of the Photography Club.

The placeholders cannot show emotion or any shred of humanity, as they are soulless. They will not react to murder or any yandere actions. They only serve to allow Yandere-chan to join their respective clubs. They will not react to a student being killed in front of them.

Even though they are partially implemented, they stand in place all day.

  • The leaders were implemented in the February 1st, 2016 Build. A leader for the Gaming Club was implemented in the April 15th, 2016 Build.
  • In "Personalities and Photography", YandereDev called the leaders "nameless, faceless, soulless beings that will not react to murder or show any emotion".[2]
  • They are unaffected by any Easter Egg mode, and cannot be killed or dismembered by the Pain Demon's ritual or the Flame Demon's ritual.
  • The characters on the club leaders' armbands are "部長", which translates to (club) leader.
